The ability of workers to live near where they work impacts employers' ability to attract and retain talent, supports the strength of our communities, and plays a critical role in Lancaster County's long-term economic competitiveness.

Join the Lancaster Chamber for Wake Up to the Issues: Housing Lancaster’s Workforce, a timely discussion examining the current state of housing in Lancaster County and the solutions being pursued locally and across Pennsylvania. From housing supply and affordability to workforce housing initiatives, development barriers, and state programs, this conversation will explore what it will take to ensure Lancaster County has the housing needed to support a growing workforce and economy.

Hear from housing and policy experts as they examine the data behind Lancaster County's housing landscape, initiatives already underway in our community, and the programs and policies being advanced at the state level. What is Wake Up to the Issues?

Wake Up to the Issues is the Lancaster Chamber's premier public policy series, bringing together business leaders, elected officials, and subject matter experts to discuss the issues most impacting Lancaster County and Pennsylvania's economy. Each program provides attendees with timely insights, diverse perspectives, and meaningful dialogue on public policy challenges and opportunities affecting employers, communities, and economic growth. Through expert panel discussions and audience engagement, participants gain a deeper understanding of the issues shaping our region and the decisions that will influence our future.

Doors open at 8:00am and the formal program begins at 8:15am. Light breakfast and coffee are provided!
